Sylmar, CA – At least Two Injured in Three-Vehicle Accident on West Foothill Boulevard
Sylmar, CA (March 4, 2019) – On the afternoon of March 3rd, a three-vehicle accident happened in the 12700 Block of West Foothill Boulevard, around 2:50 p.m. According to the reports, an unidentified vehicle T-boned a passing Infiniti sedan, which pushed it into oncoming traffic where it was then struck by a GMC SUV.
When the paramedics arrived, they found three occupants trapped in the Infiniti, which included a man, a woman, and a 7-month old infant. It took crews 45 minutes to cut the Infiniti open, where they found the man and the woman critically injured. Fortunately, the infant was not harmed.
After some investigation, it was discerned that a man coming from a marijuana dispensary crashed into the Infiniti. However, at this time, investigators have no evidence that proves alcohol or drugs were responsible for causing this accident.
The LAPD Valley Traffic Division is currently investigating the crash.
