Head-On Collisions in California
In 2014, almost 300,000 vehicle accidents occurred in California, with 17,000 of them being head-on. The leading cause of most head-on collisions is drunk driving, since alcohol causes drivers’ bodies to shut down and their vision to blur, they’re more prone to drifting into opposite lanes and striking other vehicles.
