Vehicle Accidents in California
Unfortunately, recent studies revealed that that out of 65,000 fatal crashes, every one out of ten were caused by distracted driving. Further studies show that a large percentage of distracted driving resulted from drivers being lost in their thoughts. Other examples of distracted driving include using a cell phone, falling asleep at the wheel, eating, grooming, and conversing with passengers, all of which can produce deadly results.
The police are currently gathering more information to determine what led these two vehicles to crash into each other. Some of that information includes determining who had the right of way and if there was any negligent behavior involved. Once they finish their reports, it’s likely that wrongful death lawsuits and personal injury lawsuits will be filed with the help of a California attorney.
