Thousand Oaks, CA – Lisa Solis Injured in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Moorpark Road

Thousand Oaks, CA (February 21, 2019) – On the 8^th of February, a hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened on North Moorpark Road at Thousand Oaks High School around 8:00 p.m.

According to the reports, a woman named Lisa Solis, who is the Activities Assistant at the school, was outside of an ongoing basketball game when she witnessed a 16-year-old steal money from a concession stand. She chased after the teenager as the suspect ran to their vehicle. Although she stood in front of the teen’s vehicle to stop them from driving off, the teen still ran her over and fled the scene.

When the paramedics arrived, they found Solis suffering from an extensive hemorrhage as well as a broken jaw, ribs, and leg. They transported her to the hospital in critical condition.

Fortunately, the police found and arrested the suspected driver for assault with a deadly weapon and placed them in the Juvenile Justice Center.

We are genuinely sorry to find out that Ms. Solis is in critical condition and hope she fully recovers from her injuries.
