Torrance, CA- Deadly Motorcycle Accident on CA-1 and Rolling Hills Way

Torrance, CA (April 24, 2019)- A fatal motorcycle crash took place on CA-1 (Pacific Coast Highway) close to Rolling Hills Way at around 9:35 am on Tuesday.

Reports stated that the motorcyclist, a 29-year-old San Pedro man, crashed into a pickup truck in front of him as the truck began to make a turn. The crash resulted in the motorcyclist losing his life and the pickup truck driver sustaining minor injuries.

While officials stated that drugs and alcohol are not suspected in the crash, some witnesses noted a possible race involving a silver or gray Dodge Charger. Following the crash, the Dodger driver left the scene without aiding the victims or cooperating with police.

The crash remains under investigation. Officials are asking any witnesses with information about this accident to contact them.
