Tulare County, CA. 2 People Hospitalized Following Head-On Crash on Hot Springs Road
Tulare County, CA. (July 6, 2018) – Two people reportedly suffered serious injuries after a head-on crash Friday morning on Hot Springs Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. The two-vehicle collision took place at approximately 8:18 a.m. southeast of Porterville.
Reports stated that both vehicles that were involved in the crash were completely destroyed due to the impact. The California Highway Patrol said that one of the victims who was injured was suffering from pain in the abdomen from a seatbelt injury as he was also bleeding from the nose. A helicopter had to be quickly called to the scene of the crash to airlift one person to a nearby hospital. One other victim was reportedly taken to the hospital via ambulance.
The California Highway Patrol report stated that the injuries sustained in this accident were minor. A thorough investigation into this collision is currently underway in order to determine the events that led to the crash, as well as to establish liability.
