Tuolumne, CA – Ben Udoh Injured in Hit-and-Run Bicycle Crash on Laurel Avenue

Tuolumne, CA (January 20, 2019) On the 16^th of January, a hit-and-run bicycle crash happened at approximately 5:45 a.m. on Laurel Avenue near Willow Avenue. According to the reports, a vehicle struck a 40-year-old bicyclist named Ben Udoh and proceeded to drive off without stopping.

When emergency crews arrived, they found Udoh suffering from major injuries and rushed him to a local hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

Crews shut down Laurel Avenue for hours as they cleared and investigated the scene. As of now, the Tuolumne Police Department is still searching for the driver responsible.
