Tuolumne, CA – Nick Swarzak Injured in Serious Motorcycle Collision

Tuolumne, CA (January 21, 2018) – A motorcyclist identified as 32-year-old Nick Swarzak was injured in a serious motorcycle collision that took place on Saturday evening, January 18.

The accident took place around 3:45 p.m. at Carter Street and Fir Avenue. The motorcyclist was struck by a truck driver after entering into the intersection, which caused moderate injuries to the rider. The rider remains in stable condition as of this morning.

Police have not updated information on the condition of the truck driver at this time, so it is unknown if they received injuries or not. The intersection was closed down for six hours while police officials spoke with witnesses so that they could determine how the two vehicles collided.

Police continue their investigation of the accident at this time.
