Turlock, CA – George Rohani Injured in Bicycle Accident on Greenway Avenue
Turlock, CA (March 12, 2019) – On the night of March 11th, a bicycle accident happened at 5:47 p.m. According to the reports, a big rig truck struck 56-year-old George Rohani at the intersection of Greenway Avenue and Lander Avenue.
When the paramedics arrived to help, they found Rohani injured and transported him to a hospital in Modesto for further evaluation and treatment. The driver of the big rig truck, 44-year-old Paulo Reis, remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities as they investigated and cleared the accident.
The police noted that there was a stop sign on Greenway Avenue but not for Lander Avenue. They are working to figure out whether Rohani stopped at the intersection or not. They have also noted that Reis was traveling at 15 mph at the time of the crash.
