Turlock, CA – Jonathan Calderon and 1 Injured in Vehicle Accident on E Keyes Rd
Turlock, CA (May 28, 2019) On the morning of May 27th, a vehicle accident happened at the intersection of East Keyes Road and Geer Road. A woman was operating a 1993 Honda on Geer Street when she drove through a red light and was struck by a 2016 Western semi-truck traveling on Keyes Road. The impact of the crash caused the semi-truck to overturn onto the highway.
The driver of the semi-truck, 27-year-old Jonathan Calderon, successfully crawled out of the truck and only sustained minor injuries. He refused being transported to the hospital by an ambulance. The woman in the Honda was pinned inside and needed to be extricated by firefighters. Once they successfully removed her, she was airlifted to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto for immediate treatment.
The accident is currently being investigated by authorities.
