Union City, CA – One Person Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 880 Freeway

Union City, CA (January 25, 2019) – One person was injured in a motorcycle accident that took place on Tuesday on the Interstate 880 Freeway. The accident happened around 3:50 p.m.

At the time, police received a call about a yellow motorcycle and a Nissan that collided for reasons that were not known on the 880 Freeway near the off-ramp to Alvarado-Niles Road.

Paramedics quickly responded to the scene and found that the rider of the motorcycle was wounded with serious injuries and transported them to the hospital for treatment.

The car involved was found in the center divider after the crash. Police did not say if the driver was injured.

At this time, the investigation into the accident continues.
