Head-On Collisions in California
Most head-on collisions take place when at least one driver is distracted or under the influence. The reason why it’s more common for drunk drivers to cause head-on collisions is because excessive alcohol consumption leads to blurred vision, lack of self-judgement, and lack of ability to operate a vehicle. Alcohol slows down hand-eye coordination and one’s ability to react to circumstances around them. If a driver has blurred vision and there aren’t many cars around, it’s easy for them to enter the highway in the wrong direction and cause serious damage.
Once the police finish investigating what caused this accident, it’s possible that personal injury lawsuits and a wrongful death lawsuit will be filed with the help of a California attorney.
