Head-On Collisions in California
Studies show that about 10% of all fatal crashes are a result of head-on collisions in the United States. Most of the time these types of collisions are caused by drunk or fatigued drivers. These accidents are the most common overnight when it is harder to see and fewer vehicles are on the road. It is easier for a drunk or fatigued driver to not realize that they are driving in the wrong lanes, especially if there are hardly any cars out. Unfortunately, head-on collisions are the most dangerous types of car crashes in California, since the force of impact is more intense than any other accident, making it more likely for individuals to suffer from serious or even fatal injuries.
