Upper Lake, CA- Gabriela Garcia Arrested for DUI on Highway 20 near Scotts Valley Road
Upper Lake, CA (May 1, 2019)- Highway 20 near Scotts Valley Road was the scene of a DUI crash on Monday at approximately 12:40 am.
Reports stated that a 2011Nissan Altima driven by Gabriela Garcia heading westward swerved into the eastbound lanes, where it hit a 2006 Dodge Dakota driven by Pedro Mendoza.
Following the accident, emergency medical workers extricated Garcia from her damaged vehicle. While Mendoza was able to remove himself from his vehicle, he complained of pain.
Emergency medical personnel transported both Garcia and Mendoza to Sutter Hospital in Lakeport. However, Garcia was soon taken by air ambulance to Kaiser Hospital in Vacaville.
Garcia was subsequently arrested for felony DUI.
