Vallecito, CA – Mindy Lafan Injured in Car Accident at Intersection of Highway 4 and Parrotts Ferry Road

Vallecito, CA (March 6, 2019) – On Tuesday evening, police reported that a 64-year-old identified as Mindy Lafan was injured in a car accident at a local intersection.

The accident took place last night around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 4 and Parrotts Ferry Road. The California Highway Patrol reported that the two vehicles collided head-on for reasons that are not yet known.

One of the vehicles was described as a pickup truck, while the other was a sedan. One vehicle veered off the road and down an embankment following the collision.

Emergency crews reported that only one person, identified as Lafan, was injured. She complained of chest pains following the crash and was airlifted to a hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
