Vallejo, CA- One Killed in Pedestrian Accident on the 80 Fwy Near the 780 Fwy
Vallejo, CA (June 11, 2019)- The California Highway Patrol reported a fatal pedestrian accident on Sunday at approximately 3:10 pm. The crash happened east of the 780 Freeway interchange on the 80 Freeway eastbound.
The pedestrian was hit in the freeway. Currently, few additional details are known, including whether the driver stopped and cooperated with authorities and why the pedestrian was on the freeway.
Traffic in the eastbound lanes of the 80 Freeway was delayed due to the accident.
The CHP has opened an investigation into the cause of the crash.
