Vallejo, CA – One Person Killed in Fatal Car Crash on Sonoma Boulevard

Vallejo, CA (February 10, 2019) – On Friday night around 8:13 p.m., police responded to a fatal car crash that took place on Sonoma Boulevard and involved two vehicles.

At the time, a white Saturn had been driving northbound when the driver drifted into the southbound lanes and was struck on the side by a Dodge Durango. Police are not yet sure what caused the first driver to lose control.

The driver of the Saturn received major injuries and was transported to the hospital by paramedics. However, while there, they confirmed that he tragically passed away. The woman in the Dodge received injuries but is expected to be okay.

Police do not believe that excessive speed contributed to the accident but they continue their investigation at this time.
