Ventura, CA – 2 Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident on US 101
Ventura, CA (June 3, 2019) On the afternoon of June 1st, a hit-and-run accident happened on US 101 Freeway, not far from Main Street. Two vehicles crashed into each other for unknown reasons and went down an embankment on the northern side of the freeway around 12:30 p.m.
When an ambulance arrived at the scene, they found a woman suffering from serious injuries and rushed her to the nearest hospital for treatment. A man also sustained injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital as well.
One of the drivers left the scene on foot but was later caught and arrested by the police. They also arrested the passenger who was in the vehicle.
The accident is still under investigation.
