Ventura, CA – Fatal Vehicle Accident Takes Life Of Teenager At Telegraph Rd & Claremont Way

Ventura, CA (May 17, 2019) – Authorities have confirmed that a single-vehicle crash took the life of a 15-year-boy and seriously injured four others. The accident took place early in the morning on Friday, May 17th. The exact time of the crash was 1:35 a.m.

Sources indicate that the accident happened at the intersection of Telegraph Rd. and Claremont Way.

The driver of the vehicle, a 21-year-old, was seriously injured in the crash. Officials claim that the driver was speeding when the vehicle went offroad, colliding with a traffic signal pole.

Authorities have reported that the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Telegraph Rd. and that no other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Paramedics were at the scene to render aid to those injured, but sadly the teenager was soon pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, along with the other three passengers who were also 15 years of age, were transported to nearby medical facilities for further treatment.
