Ventura, CA – Man Injured in Hit & Run Pedestrian Accident on E. Santa Clara St.

Ventura, CA (April 8, 2019) – On the night of April 6^th, a hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened in the 200 block of East Santa Clara Street. According to the reports, the accident took place near the intersection of East Santa Clara Street and Figueroa Street at approximately 9:12 p.m. A 28-year-old man was walking within a marked crosswalk that also had a pedestrian sign when a white Nissan Sentra struck him and drove off without stopping.

When the paramedics arrived, they found the pedestrian suffering from moderate injuries and transported him to Ventura County Medical Center for treatment.

Fortunately, the police have found physical evidence left at the scene that will help them track down the driver.
