The other three suffered minor to moderate injuries and were also transported to a nearby hospital via ground ambulance. The report also states that out of the four occupants, two were children. Unfortunately, the 36-year-old woman who drove the Kia suffered fatal injuries at the crash site. She was identified as April Everett.

Vehicle Accidents in California
There are many reasons why fatal vehicle accidents occur daily in the United States, but the main cause is negligent driving. Whenever drivers choose to drive under the influence, speed, drive fatigued, converse with passengers, eat, discipline children, and more, they’re putting themselves and others at serious risk of being injured or killed. There are even instances where a vehicle may start to malfunction, causing the driver to lose control and crash into other vehicles. Sometimes hazardous road conditions are responsible for causing serious damages. It’s important for drivers to drive responsibly at all times in order to protect themselves and others from harm.
The police are currently investigating this accident to determine what caused the woman’s vehicle to end up in the opposite lane of an oncoming GMC. Once they conclude their findings, it’s likely that personal injury lawsuits and a wrongful death lawsuit will be filed with the help of a California attorney.
