Victorville, CA – One Dead and Two Injured in Car Crash on Hesperia Road

Victorville, CA (August 11, 2018) – One person was reported to have been killed and two others were injured in a motor vehicle accident on Hesperia Road early on Saturday morning, according to a local news outlet in Victorville. The deadly collision was reported to have transpired between two vehicles just shortly after 12:00 a.m.

The news article stated that a witness had informed the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department that a purple 2006 Toyota Scion TC was traveling northbound on Hesperia Road when the driver seemed to lose control of the vehicle. The Toyota ended up in a southbound lane and was subsequently rear-ended by a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban.

Paramedics along with the officials from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department arrived on the scene to provide aid to the victims. Tragically, one individual in the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene. Another occupant of the Toyota had to be airlifted to a nearby trauma center to be treated for their injuries, while the driver of the Suburban was quickly taken to a local hospital via ambulance.

Hesperia Road was closed down between Ottawa Street and Green Tree Boulevard for about six hours. No names nor the conditions of the injured victims have been released at this time. Investigators are currently examining all the evidence from the scene.
