Victorville, CA – Two People Injured after Two-Vehicle Collision at Intersection of Ridgecrest Road and Vista Point Drive

Victorville, CA (August 6, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported that two victims sustained injuries as the result of a collision involving two vehicles that took place at the intersection of Ridgecrest Road and Vista Point Drive, in the vicinity of the Spring Valley Lake neighborhood. The incident occurred at approximately 12:30 PM in the afternoon on Sunday, August 5, 2018. At this time, no detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the crash has been revealed.

Based on the initial CHP report, a blue Dodge Ram truck and a 2011 Chevy Transverse SUV were traveling in the Spring Valley Lake area when, for indeterminate reasons, the two vehicles collided near Ridgecrest and Vista Point. As a result of the impact, the Dodge overturned onto the Chevy.

Sometime later, emergency teams rushed to the crash site and attempted to render medical aid to the SUV driver and a passenger, who had been riding in one of the vehicles. These individuals declined aid.

Presently, the California Highway Patrol has assumed authority over the ongoing investigation into factors that may have led up to the crash.

We extend our most heartfelt prayers and most loving thoughts to the victims of the crash and wish them swift and efficient recoveries from their injuries.
