Visalia, CA – Driver Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident on Plaza Drive

Visalia, CA (January 25, 2019) – A driver was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident that took place between Plaza Drive and Goshen Avenue on Wednesday night.

At the time, a Nissan Frontier was headed west on Goshen Avenue when it made a turn on Plaza Drive. The car ran a red light and immediately ran into a Nissan Altima at the intersection.

Paramedics arrived at the scene of the accident and found that the driver of the Altima, who has not been identified, was left with major injuries after the crash.

The patient was taken to a local hospital for treatment and their condition is not known at this time. Police confirmed that the driver of the Frontier did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.

The incident remains under investigation at this time.
