Vista, CA- Crash on Hwy 78 Near Vista Village Drive Causes Serious Injuries

Vista, CA (June 13, 2019)- A Wednesday evening crash left one person with serious injuries on Highway 78 close to Vista Village Drive.

Reports state that at approximately 9 pm. a sedan hit a concrete median after spinning from the westbound lanes.

The crash involved additional vehicles, but the number of vehicles is unknown at this time.

At least one person was taken to a local hospital with major injuries. Their status and identification have not been released.

Following the crash, officials closed to lanes of Hwy 78 in order to commence an investigation into the cause of the accident.
