West Sacramento, CA – David Rosenheimer Killed in Accident on Highway 50

West Sacramento, CA (February 22, 2019) – 54-year-old David Rosenheimer was tragically killed in an accident involving multiple vehicles that took place on Highway 50 on Monday afternoon, according to police.

Police arrived at the scene of the accident around 1:00 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Highway 50. The accident happened when a 2019 Ford, 2016 GMC, and 2010 Ford had been stopped in traffic. A 2014 Tesla approached at the intersection and was unable to stop in time. The Tesla slammed into the 2019 Ford, which led to a chain-reaction crash.

Police say that Rosenheimer received a variety of major injuries and was taken to the hospital. However, while there, he was pronounced deceased. Meanwhile, the 49-year-old driver of the GMC also sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital, but is expected to recover.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
