Motorcycle Accidents with Commerical Vehicles in California
Unfortunately, the reason motorcyclists are frequently being injured or killed is that their bodies are highly susceptible to injuries, especially from large garbage trucks. Drivers aren’t always checking their blind spots and rearview mirrors for motorcyclists even though they are required to by law. The police are currently investigating this accident to determine if the truck driver engaged in any negligent behavior at the time of the crash or if the motorcyclist was negligent. Once liability is determined, it may be possible for the surviving family members to file a wrongful death lawsuit with the help of a California wrongful death attorney.
