Wheatland, CA – One Person Hospitalized after Car Accident at Forty Mile Road and Hoffman Road
Wheatland, CA – (November 30, 2018) – A violent traffic collision left one person hospitalized Friday morning in Wheatland. The collision happened at approximately 8:32 am at Forty Mile and Hoffman roads.
According to the California Highway Patrol, A big rig and another unidentified vehicle were approaching an intersection in the area of Forty Mile and Hoffman roads when for unknown reasons they collided. Wheatland firefighters immediately responded to the crash site and closed Forty Mile Road. Paramedics transported an unknown number of victims to Rideout Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident. At least one of the vehicles was towed away from the crash scene as evidence.
The California Highway Patrol has assumed authority over the investigation.
