Willow Creek, CA – Pedestrian Struck and Injured on Forest View Drive and Bigfoot Avenue

Willow Creek, CA (July 21, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported an accident that left one pedestrian injured Thursday night in the vicinity of Forest View Road and Bigfoot Avenue. The injurious collision reportedly took place at around 9:39 p.m. Willow Creek, located in Humboldt County.

The report released by the California Highway Patrol dispatch team stated that an unidentified man was apparently hit by a vehicle at or near the intersection of Bigfoot Avenue and Forest View Road. Paramedics who arrived at the scene immediately in order to help the victim said that the injuries suffered by the pedestrian were relatively minor leg wounds.

The initial responders on the scene arrived to find at least three vehicles stopped near the location of the accident. However, it is currently unclear as to whether or not all three of those vehicles were involved in the collision.

The name of the male pedestrian who sustained injuries during this accident has not been released, and his exact condition is unknown at this time. There was no more information made available in regards to the events that took place prior to the crash. The circumstances surrounding this accident are currently under investigation.
