Willow Creek, Humboldt County, California – Motorcyclist Injured after Deadly Accident near 3517 Highway 299
Willow Creek, Humboldt County, California (July 3, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported that a deadly accident took place in the vicinity of 3517 Highway 299, more specifically Trinity Highway. The incident occurred at some time around 5:15 PM in the late afternoon on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. Authorities have not revealed any detailed information concerning the identities of the motorcyclist and motorist involved in the crash at this time.
Based on the CHP report, a motorcycle and a larger vehicle were traveling down Highway 299 when, for indeterminate reasons, the two vehicles collided. First responders including paramedic teams administered aid to the rider, who sustained a broken ankle and knee abrasions as a result of the impact. Medical personnel have not disclosed his current physical condition, as of now, and have not revealed if the motorist was harmed during the crash.
Afterward, law enforcement shut down eastbound Highway 299 and reopened the lane to the public a little before 6:30 PM on July 3.
