Woodland, CA – Injuries Sustained in Woodland Car Collision on 5 Freeway near East Street
Woodland, CA – (November 20, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a traffic accident that happened on Interstate 5 Tuesday morning. The accident took place at about 11:45 am on interstate 5 near the N East Street off-ramp.
According to officials, a white pickup truck, a Honda Civic and a white Honda sedan were traveling northbound on the 5 freeway when for unknown reasons all three vehicles collided into one another. First responders rendered aid to the injured victims at the crash site and used an ambulance to transport an unspecified number of people to a local hospital for additional treatment. Tow trucks were used to remove the Honda cars from the collision scene with crash damage. Police are still working to establish the events that occurred prior to the accident.
The California Highway Patrol has assumed authority over this investigation.
