Woodland, CA – Three-Vehicle Traffic Accident Occurs at Intersection of County Road 98 and County Road 29

Woodland, CA (August 8, 2018) – Local authorities reported that a terrible traffic accident involving three vehicles occurred at the junction of County Road 98 and County Road 29. The California Highway Patrol confirmed the accident happened at approximately 6:22 PM in the evening on Tuesday, August 7, 2018. At this time, no detailed information concerning the identities of the three drivers or additional occupants has been released.

As indicated in the CHP report, a white Ford Expedition, a black Ford Expedition, and an unidentified third vehicle were traveling in the Woodland area and, for indeterminate reasons, collided at the intersection of Country Road 98 and County Road 29. Later, firefighters were dispatched to the crash site and discovered the third vehicle had burst into flames as a result of the crash. Officials confirmed that one victim had been extracted from the wreckage, which had blocked the main roadway.

Medical personnel affirmed that an unspecified number of victims had suffered severe injuries. The current physical conditions of these individuals have not been disclosed.
