Yolo County, CA – Gary Vroman and Ambe Hernandez Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on 5 Freeway
Yolo County, CA (January 29, 2019) On the 28th of January, a vehicle accident happened on the 5 Freeway at approximately 6:50 a.m. According to the reports, a 79-year-old named Gary Lee Vroman was driving a 1997 Nissan at a low speed on the highway due to a flat tire. A 2018 Nissan that was driving behind the older vehicle failed to stop when the vehicle stopped and rear-ended the older Nissan.
When emergency crews arrived to help, they found Vroman suffering from major injuries and transported him to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment. Emergency crews also transported his passenger, 28-year-old Ambe Hernandez to the hospital as well.
The police are currently investigating this accident.
