Yolo County, CA – One Person Died in Fatal Accident on County Road 19

Yolo County, CA (January 25, 2019) – Police reported that one person lost their life in a fatal accident that took place on around the area where County Road 19 and County Road 49 intersect. The accident was deemed a head-on collision by police.

Police responded around 6:51 a.m. to find that the accident took place between a Trailblazer SUV and a blue Ford Taurus sedan. One male was trapped inside his vehicle and those who responded to the scene worked laboriously to free him from the vehicle.

Police also reported that at least one person died due to severe trauma from the accident. The coroner was called out to the scene to take a closer look. At this time, police have not reported whether or not there were injuries involved in the accident.

At this time, liability for the accident remains under investigation.
