Yuba County, CA – Jeanne Kendall Injured in Fatal Car Accident on Highway 70

Yuba County, CA (January 31, 2019) On the morning of January 30^th, a fatal car accident happened along Highway 70 at about 11:20 a.m. According to the reports, a Honda Civic and a Chevrolet Avalanche collided on the highway when the Honda drifted into the path of the Chevrolet.

The 68-year-old driver of the Chevrolet, Jeanne Kendall, tried to avoid the collision but was unable to and collided with the passenger side of the Honda. The impact of the collision caused the 33-year-old driver of the Honda to eject onto the highway. The driver of the Honda and the 37-year-old front seat passenger both died at the scene. The 21-year-old backseat passenger suffered critical injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. Kendall suffered from major injuries and was also transported to a hospital for treatment.

Officials also reported that there were two dogs in the Chevrolet, which were injured as well.

The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating this accident.
