South San Jose, CA – Man Killed in Fatal Accident on Snell Avenue

South San Jose, CA (March 8, 2019) – On Wednesday night, around 7:15 p.m., a man was struck and killed in a fatal accident that took place on Snell Avenue. This is already the seventh pedestrian fatality that has happened in San Jose this year.

At the time, the unidentified man was walking across Cedargate Lane when an oncoming 2001 Toyota SUV was headed southbound and struck him. Paramedics responded and transported the injured man to a hospital, where he later passed away due to his injuries.

The man driving the SUV pulled over and stopped after the crash to cooperate with police. The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
