Fontana, CA – UPDATE: Vicente Meza Lomas Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Foothill Blvd

Fontana, CA (April 22, 2019) On the 18^th of April, a fatal pedestrian accident occurred in the 17800 block of Foothill Boulevard.

The fatal accident occurred in the very early hours at about 3:30 a.m.

The reports indicate that a vehicle struck 42-year-old man now identified as Vicente Meza Lomas.  The authorities are unsure about how this incident occurred.

Emergency medical services were called to the scene along with police and fire crews where they determined that Lomas did not survive his catastrophic injuries and passed away at the scene.

As of now, the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner is investigating this fatal crash to figure out who had the right of way in an effort to prove liability.

We are saddened by the news of Vicente Meza Lomas losing his life in this accident. Our thoughts are with his grieving family.
