Perris, CA-Pedestrian Sustains Major Injuries at the I-215 Near Hwy 74
Perris, CA (May 10, 2019)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a pedestrian experienced major injuries following a crash north of Highway 74 on Interstate 215 Freeway on Friday.
The CHP reported that a gray Kia Sorrento struck a pedestrian at approximately 1:48 am. When officials arrived at the scene, they found the pedestrian down on the roadway’s right shoulder.
An ambulance arrived and provided treatment to the pedestrian. The current condition of the pedestrian, as well as whether or not other victims were treated, is unknown at this time.
All lanes of the 215 Freeway were closed until 1:53 am so that officials could begin an initial investigation.
The investigation remains underway.
