Oxnard, CA – Man Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Mariposa St

Oxnard, CA (May 13, 2019) On the morning of May 11^th, a fatal pedestrian accident happened in the 2000 block of Mariposa Street. A vehicle struck a 30-year-old man at about 11:40 a.m. The accident happened a block east of Ventura Road, and about two blocks away from Gonzales Road.

When the paramedics made it to the scene, they found the man injured and immediately took him to Ventura County Medical Center for further care. Sadly, the man did not survive his injuries.

Authorities are currently investigating the accident, but they believe the man had gotten into a dispute with the 35-year-old driver right before the accident happened.
