Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accidents in California
Sadly, it’s common for hit-and-run pedestrian accidents to occur after hours when drivers are more likely to be under the influence. Drivers who strike people and drive off are often people who already have a criminal history and don’t want to be caught for their actions. Other times drivers are unaware that they even struck someone, depending on how much alcohol they consumed. Sadly, there are even times when drivers intentionally hit pedestrians out of anger and the need for revenge, especially if they had a prior altercation.
