Pedestrian Accidents in California
Sadly, in 2013, about 4,800 pedestrians lost their lives after being hit by vehicles throughout California. Most of these fatalities occur when drivers aren’t aware of their surroundings because they’re neglecting the road ahead. When drivers quickly remove their eyesight because of their cell phones, or other reasons, they risk accidentally striking pedestrians. Sadly, because pedestrians are fully exposed, they are susceptible to being seriously injured or even losing their lives.
