Hundreds of pedestrian accidents occur every year in Long Beach for a multitude of reasons. The most common cause is negligent driving, which includes texting, using a cell phone, falling asleep at the wheel, driving under the influence, or conversing with a passenger. Drivers who choose to violate laws while they’re on the road can be held liable for the entire accident.
Once the police capture the driver responsible for this accident, the deceased man’s family members could file a wrongful death lawsuit.
