Gridley, CA – Francisco Rivas Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Kentucky Street

Gridley, CA (January 29, 2019) – A 39-year-old man identified as Francisco Rivas was injured in a pedestrian accident that took place on Kentucky Street on Saturday morning.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the accident around 8:00 a.m. to find that Rivas was struck when he was crossing the street and an SUV came by and struck him. Police have not yet identified the circumstances leading to the accident.

Rivas suffered a variety of injuries, some of which were severe, and was transferred to the hospital for treatment. At this time, police do not know the condition of the victim.

Police are now working on their investigation of the accident.
