Cabazon, CA – James Kenrod Hit and Killed on Interstate 10 Freeway

Cabazon, CA (February 4, 2019) On the night of February 1^st, a fatal pedestrian accident happened on the Interstate 10 Freeway at around 7:00 p.m. According to the reports, a 28-year-old man named James Kenrod got out of his vehicle to check his crashed 2014 Subaru Legacy, which was in the middle of the freeway. A 2008 Honda CRV struck Kenrod’s Subaru, which caused his Subaru along with another vehicle to crash into him.

When the paramedics arrived, they transported Kenrod to San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital where he later died from his injuries at 8:13 p.m.

So far, the police have gathered that the driver of the Honda is 58-years-old, but it’s unclear if he was hurt. They’re currently still investigating the accident.
