Arden-Arcade, CA – Man Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Crash at Watt Avenue

Arden-Arcade, CA (February 8, 2019) – One unidentified man was killed in a pedestrian crash that took place at the intersection of Watt Avenue and Arden Way in Arden-Arcade. The accident took place around 7:19 p.m.

A witness spoke with investigators and told them that a male pedestrian had been picking up items on the roadway when he was suddenly struck by a silver pickup truck. Police have not confirmed whether or not the driver stayed at the scene.

The man sustained major injuries and was quickly taken to the hospital by responding paramedics. Life-saving procedures were given but, unfortunately, the man was declared dead.

The identity of the pedestrian has not yet been released and the investigation into the accident continues at this time.
