Bakersfield, CA – Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Crash on Ming Avenue

Bakersfield, CA (April 5, 2019) – Yesterday morning around 2:40 a.m., police responded to the scene of a pedestrian hit-and-run crash on Ming Avenue that led to critical injuries. The accident took place near Pinon Springs Circle.

Police claim that a male pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was walking on Ming Avenue when he was suddenly struck by a passing vehicle for reasons unknown.

Paramedics immediately responded to the scene and found the man lying in the roadway suffering from major injuries due to the accident. He was quickly transported to a local hospital and has been listed in critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle that struck the man never stopped at the scene to render aid. Authorities are still investigating the accident and trying to determine who struck the man.
