Bakersfield, CA – Tiffany Bronte Sanders Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Fruitvale Ave
Bakersfield, CA (June 25, 2019) On the morning of June 23rd, a fatal pedestrian accident happened at the intersection of Fruitvale Avenue and Hageman Road. A woman was walking outside of the Pour House Bar and ended up in the south lane of Fruitvale Avenue. A driver failed to see the woman and accidentally struck her.
When the ambulance arrived at the scene to help, they found the woman lying in the street with serious injuries. They immediately took her to Kern Medical for treatment. Unfortunately, she did not survive, despite life-saving attempts. She has been identified as 40-year-old Tiffany Bronte Sanders.
The police are currently investigating the accident to determine why the 25-year-old driver struck Sanders. So far, the driver claims she was reaching for an item when she struck Sanders.
