Beaumont, CA – One Individual Badly Injured in Beaumont Pedestrian Crash

Beaumont, CA (January 18, 2019) – In Beaumont, one individual was badly injured in a pedestrian accident that took place along Beaumont Avenue yesterday afternoon, January 17.

The Riverside County Fire Department was called to the scene of the accident, which took place around 1:53 p.m. just south of California Avenue. A pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle for reasons that are not yet known. The pedestrian has not yet been identified.

Emergency responders said that the pedestrian became pinned under the vehicle at the time of the accident. Firefighters were immediately called to extricate the individual from under the vehicle. They were transported to the hospital with a variety of injuries and, unfortunately, we do not have any updates on their condition at this time.

Police did not mention whether or not the driver stopped at the scene of the accident. Authorities are still investigating the accident at this time.
