Chula Vista, CA- Trolley Hits and Kills Man Near L St. and Industrial Blvd

Chula Vista, CA (May 6, 2019)- Authorities reported that a Metropolitan Transit System trolley struck and killed a man at around 5:25 am on Monday.

The fatal collision happened close to L Street and Industrial Boulevard. The pedestrian died at the crash site.

Due to the accident, the trolley system was delayed for 20 minutes in order for authorities to begin their investigation into the cause of the crash.

Few details are available at this time. However, the Chula Vista Police Department’s investigation is ongoing.
