Concord, CA – 55-Year-Old Man Dies in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Brown and Aspen Drives
Concord, CA (February 6, 2019) On the morning of February 6th, a fatal pedestrian accident occurred at the intersection of Brown Drive and Aspen Drive in the Pacheco community. A 55-year-old man, who has not been identified at this time, lost his life in this terrible pedestrian crash.
According to the reports, a gray Nissan Cube was traveling down Aspen Drive very close to Brown Drive when the 55-year-old man is said to have stepped into the street, ending up directly in front of the Nissan Cube, and was struck at approximately 7:52 morning.
When authorities and emergency responders arrived at the scene they tried to life-saving measures, but sadly, the pedestrian passed away at the scene of the accident and was pronounced dead at approximately 8:05 am.
The driver of the Nissan Cube remained at the scene and authorities say that alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the accident.
The accident is currently under investigation.
